A trauma informed Approach to Sound Baths and Yoga Nidra

Here we use a mixture of Gongs, Singing bowls, and various other instruments to create a deep relaxation. Before treatment we will discuss what you want to achieve and any concerns you may have so that the session can be tailored. The practitioner will also be aware of how you're responding during the session so that it can be adjusted as we progress and that you're able to get the best from it. This can bring the body and nervous system down from flight or fight towards relaxation and allow charges within the nervous system to be released too.

The Trauma informed Yoga Nidra is a beautiful practice in that you are laid on our bespoke made couch, and are guided safely and gently into the meditative state. James has a wealth of experience teaching and training meditations from his times Studying in China and on His somatic Psychotherapy qualification. The sessions themselves depend on each person and their outcomes but are aimed to allow the person to enter a very relaxed and enjoyable state and releasing held tension within the body.
